One of my favourite characters was Amelia Whisper, librarian extraordinaire. She captures their voices and mannerisms to perfection that you will be clamouring for the next character just to see them brought back to life. I felt as if Anna James had met these characters in person. So many people love these characters – making them believable must have been an extraordinary challenge.
